HORMONAL WELLNESS EDUCATION & INCLUSION FOR THE WORKPLACE & BEYOND

WELCOME TO DRAGONFIRE WELLNESS

DragonFire Wellness provides education, professional development, coaching, and community learning for people and organizations navigating perimenopause and menopause. We believe menopause deserves more than silence, stigma, one-size-fits-all advice, or another promise that there is a single “right” way to move through it.There isn't.Bodies are different. Lives are different. Workplaces are different. Priorities are different. Our work helps people and organizations better understand this major life transition and build practical, informed, humane ways of responding to it.

WHY DRAGONFIRE WELLNESS EXISTS

DragonFire Wellness grew out of Dr. Breeze Harper's more than 15 years of designing and facilitating professional development and leadership education for workplaces and organizations.Over the years, Dr. Harper worked with employees, managers, organizational leaders, and teams around workplace culture, communication, accessibility, leadership, and the many ways our lived experiences shape how we are able to function at work. But one major experience was largely missing from organizational conversations:Perimenopause. The menopausal transition can last for years. Changes in sleep, energy, cognition, temperature regulation, bleeding, migraines, mood, concentration, and other aspects of health do not disappear when someone walks into an office, opens a laptop, supervises a team, leads a meeting, travels for work, or cares for family members after the workday ends. And yet many workplaces remain unprepared to understand or support employees navigating this transition. In collaboration with Dr. Abigail Aiyepola, naturopathic clinician of hormonal health, Dragon Fire Wellness was created in response to that gap. What began as a recognition of an overlooked workplace issue became something larger: a wellness practice dedicated to helping people understand menopause not as an isolated medical event, but as a transition unfolding within the realities of work, family, relationships, identity, health, caregiving, aging, and everyday life.
